• Perform and oversee stream channel morphology, aquatic organism abundance and diversity, biogeochemistry, seasonal climatic and hydrologic changes, and riparian phenology data collection following established, standardized field, lab, and shipping procedures. • Train, lead, and mentor seasonal field personnel across two field seasons at three field sites, providing instruction and technical guidance across thirty-two aquatic instrumentation and observation protocols. • Operate and maintain in-situ water quality and atmospheric sensors, monitoring their health and operational status using various computer interface tools (e.g., Grafana, Monitoring Suite)• Lead a collaborative external research project with Battelle Scientist acting as POC, focusing on the collection of Didymospheria geminata for in-depth analysis of its colonization patterns and dispersal potential. • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of recorded data by conducting quality control checks and reporting errors in collaboration with staff scientists to resolve discrepancies and enhance data integrity across twelve protocols. • Serve on the hiring panel for seasonal field personnel, conducting interviews and evaluating candidate applications to ensure a strong fit for the team. • Track and document weekly field crew progress through Excel, ensuring completion of assigned tasks and accurately noting any work completed versus postponed or deferred for future scheduling.

Aquatic Sampling: surface water chemistry, dissolved gas collection, stable isotope collection, aquatic microbes, groundwater chemistry, stream discharge, reaeration, aquatic plant identification and collection, invertebrate sampling, algae sampling, benthic microbe sampling, sediment chemistry, fish electroshocking, riparian habitat assessment, and geomorphology.Aquatic Instrument System: monitor, inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, cleaning, clearing, lubricating, repairing, and replacing aquatic data sensors at the field sites.
