-Provide Marine Support of the effective day to day drilling operations of the vessel;-Oversee the maintenance of the Deck, Firefighting, Lifesaving, Stability & Ballast And Lifting Gears-Provide effective control over the Vessel´s Marine Operations with regards of Marine personal, Maintenance of equipment's' and protection of the environment.-Supervise DP operations-Supervise Cargo and Bulk Transfers-Perform Cement Jobs for well operations-Lead the Marine Team ( DPO´s, Bosun and ABs)- Assist the Captain with regulatory Compliance

- Monitor all DP system parameters including weather, current etc.- In-depth knowledge of the DP-system and its positioning systems (DGPS & acoustics)- Familiarization with Rig Operations Manual, equipment manuals and regulations- Plan and prepare upcoming operations in detail, ensuring time effectiveness- Maintain good two-way communication with key personnel- Reports all known problems, even if minor, to rig management- Update all marine navigation publications and navigational charts- Monitor and track marine traffic within close proximity- Officer of the Watch when on tour- Voyage planning- In charge of navigation and Watch Officer’s duties during transit- Train and mentor trainee DP Operators (develop onboard training program)- Upkeep and use of dedicated checks list and logs- Assure that administrative tasks were completed timely and accurately- Maintaining an up-to-date file system and orderly office- Operate and monitor the DP System to maintain the rig over the well or within anacceptable range of its target position- Ensure that the DP system is repaired if required and pre-tested between well locationsand is in 100% operational condition prior to arriving on location

• Manager of the marine department responsible for all marine related issues such as:DP operations, DP equipment upgrades, anchoring operations and mooring analysis, shipyard projects, port control, classification societies, marine personnel (selection, training, evaluations and promotions), other regulatory authorities, flag state, mobe and demobe projects, contract issues, marine audits, emergency response, customer relations, selection of support vessels, diving operations and etc

• Marine superintendent involved in special projects, DP operations and upgrades, thruster change outs, moving of moored rigs in critical areas, crewing, training of DP personnel, special surveys, regulatory bodies, classification societies, ship yard projects, diving operations, developing DP procedures with client, marine audits, involved in logistics and purchasing, client satisfaction.
