Reports directly to Associate Chief Nurse, Quality and Safety to provide project management for departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement projects. Designs, develops, and improves systems to collect, aggregate, and report data to facilitate practice evaluation and meet reporting requirements. Provides support for the Nursing Practice Council to ensure current policies are available to staff. Manages the process of Nursing documentation form review, revision, printing and ensuring availability. In support of the Associate Chief Nurse, Professional Development and Research manages the processes around the Continuing Education Reimbursement Advisory Board (CERAB) activities. Designs, develops and improves systems to track and evaluate the Continuing Education Program offerings. Manages the processing of access for non-BIDMC RN employees and nursing student placements. Supports the planning and execution of National Nurses Week and nurse visitor activities. Manages all Schools of Nursing placements within the hospital.
