In my current role, I specialize in supporting and managing UNIX/Linux environments with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and security. Key responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining Puppet configurations across infrastructure to ensure consistent system management and automation.Provisioning and maintaining UNIX/Linux systems, including applying patches, updates, and system upgrades for both physical and virtual servers in on-prem environments.Managing and remediating security vulnerabilities to ensure a secure and compliant IT environment.Supporting and optimizing SAN storage environments (Pure) across multiple locations using fiber channel connectivity.Leveraging expertise in UNIX/Linux-based backup solutions, specifically Commvault, and working with load balancers, particularly A10 Networks.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, developing and implementing process improvements, and delivering solutions to end users effectively.With a proactive and innovative approach, I work independently and collaboratively to identify opportunities for process optimization, enhance infrastructure resilience, and contribute to the overall success of IT operations
