I am going to talk about what she has done to prepare herself for her future as a leader. Agent Busetta has been instrumental in a few client escalations. As we all know, retail supervisors deal with all kinds of client issues — from wanting discounts and free service to scams and insurance fraud. One day, a client came to Geek Squad, and insisted we return his Bose speaker from over a year. He had Geek Squad Protection, which is a service plan that replaces devices if they break. The client went on to say, we need to return this speaker, because he was told he can upgrade anytime. Agent Busetta stepped in, empathized with the client, and then informed him that we can’t take this back, because that’s not how the plan works. He tried to push back, but Agent Buestta stood her ground, went over the terms and conditions with him, and then offered to return the plan. In the end, the client left, somewhat satisfied. He even went to Home Theater to price some speakers. But that’s not all! Agent Busetta prepared herself to be a leader by leading by example. She became the first agent to become Apple iOS certified, passing with above 90’s on her first try. She developed a rhythm around returned products, and oversaw proper execution around what’s returned for resell. She devised a checklist to coach the sales departments on Geek Squad services. I can’t speak high enough of Agent Busetta’s credentials. Nor can I list everything she has done to prepare herself for her future. All in all, if you don’t hire her for your company, then I will be more than happy to keep her in North Haven, where she will continue to do great things!"
