Job Overview:As the Manager, Events & Training, I am responsible for coordinating public and in-house training events including coordinating all logistics and deliverables. Managing that event materials are complete and delivered on time, planning healthy menus, booking venues, organizing all course attendees, communicating with trainers to ensure that the events run smoothly. I also oversee Certara University content and training sessions. I provide Event Planning expertise to the annual Sales Training Meeting and other company sponsored events. Attention to detail, working well against deadlines and the ability to juggle and prioritize many tasks are critical for this role.Responsibilities:• Be the point of contact for assigned training, staying within a defined budget, and managing logistics to ensure event success• Coordinate all elements of event management, including site planning, expense management, attendance reporting, product shipping coordination, communication with attendees and trainers • Manage training events on Certara University's website, schedule courses with staff, determine locations, alert marketing and sales to begin their process once public training has been scheduled • Ensure trainers and attendees have training materials and correspond information in a timely, thoughtful and well communicated manner • Assist staff for pre-event and post-event promotions • Create training opportunities in a timely manner and enter into SalesForce• Maintain course manuals, datasets, solutions and websites for training • Manage all correspondence with customers, trainers and attendees, send course updates, answer attendee questions and send final class details• Manage payments, expenses and PO’s• Tracking payments with accounting and finance• Work to provide individual or group quotes• Troubleshoot registration issues• Manage On Demand Training Courses and Certara University Website Updates
