(Portugal, 1994) Architect and PhD student. Has a MArch in Architecture by IST-University of Lisbon, complemented with one Semester at EPFL. Worked for three years, until 2021, at Souto Moura Architects. In 2019 was laureated with the Architect Álvaro Machado Award and in 2021, with Manuel Alves Campos, won a special mention for innovative proposal at the ReUse Italy international architecture competition. His master’s dissertation focused on an analogical relation between the work of Lacaton & Vassal and Andrea Palladio. Its findings are published in the article "Rescuing the Machine à Habiter: The Palladian Villa in the second life of Lacaton & Vassal’s Transformed Grands-Ensembles” (2020), co-written with professor Ana Tostões. From 2022, during two semesters, he was a teaching assistant at the MArch discipline of Theory of Architecture from IST-University of Lisbon. His current research focuses on the relationship between collective housing and associated communal spaces, on which he has been writing and lecturing internationally.
