The Harris-Walz campaign was relentless, nimble, and joyful, and I will forever be proud of the work we did on this campaign and the impact it had on the Northwestern PA community. It is worth noting that Vice President Harris outperformed the statewide average rightward vote shift in Erie County, a direct result stemming directly from the political and surrogate program built, relationships formed, and first-rate field program produced as a result. The groundwork that has been laid in Northwest PA will contribute to future successes.As Northwestern PA regional political director, I:- built the first Democratic presidential campaign political program in eight years in Northwest PA- cultivated and managed strategic relationships with elected officials, labor unions, political advocacy organizations, community groups, down-ballot campaigns, and grassroots activists to advance campaign objectives- coordinated and executed three high-profile principal visits and numerous major surrogate events in collaboration with statewide and national cross-functional teams- organized a broad range of targeted campaign engagement events, including Pennsylvania's largest official Vice Presidential Debate watch party, many of which received earned mediaThe fight for the soul of our nation, and it was a humble and joyful privilege to be a part of this campaign in an impactful and fulfilling way.

As a forever Blue Jay, my commitment to strengthening the Johns Hopkins alumni community and exemplifying the values of service and collaboration inspired me to join the Homecoming & Reunion team at the Johns Hopkins Office of Alumni Relations, within Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). Recognizing the importance of Alumni Weekend as a campus tradition fostering connections and celebrating our shared heritage, I coordinated a large team of volunteers from across the institution to ensure a successful and memorable experience for alumni.In my role, I:- coordinated and managed over 300 volunteers from various departments and schools within the Hopkins enterprise, ensuring that each volunteer was well-prepared and placed in roles that matched their skills and interests;- developed and implemented effective communication strategies to engage volunteers, providing them with comprehensive training and support;- collaborated with members of the Hopkins development team and alumni leaders to design and execute a wide range of events and activities that highlighted the diverse achievements of our alumni community;- facilitated opportunities for networking and mentorship among volunteers and alumni, reinforcing the bonds between current students, recent graduates, and established professionals; and,- received recognition for my ability to build a strong volunteer team, enhance the alumni experience, and contribute to the overall success of Alumni Weekend.Through this experience, I reinforced my belief in the strength of the alumni community of my alma mater and gained skills in development, professional networking, and large-scale event organizing.

My deep passion for the success of the NA community and my understanding of what it means to exemplify citizenship drove me to graduate early from Johns Hopkins University and pursue a seat on the school board, recognizing that this election was too important for our community to remain on the sidelines. I remain committed to not only improving the District but also proving to the community that in such a perilous and polarized moment in our country, there is a better way to move forward.During my campaign, I:- ran to represent the North Allegheny School District community and garnered an historic 9,372 votes in highest turnout election in the District’s history as youngest candidate, flipping the Board majority for the first time in history;- accrued a slew of high-profile endorsements from Run For Something, the Latino Victory Fund (as the youngest candidate in the country to earn an endorsement in the 2023 cycle), Clipboard PAC, and the recognition of Gun Sense Safety Candidate by Everytown/Moms Demand Action; and,- engaged with over 10,000 voters in presenting thoughtful, inclusive leadership and policy agenda for the District.

Jackson ruling, and the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine (and subsequent deliberations over billions in aid to Ukraine), I contributed to a team of public servants in Majority Leader Schumer's office that worked hard to steer and realize the priorities of the American people.As a legislative intern in the Office of the Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, I:- conducted legislative research on various public health-related projects- participated in legislative briefings and hearings- drafted and finalized various judiciary-, foreign policy-, commerce-, and public health-related legislative memos- categorized constituent communication while drafting memos to the Senator on constituent areas of interest- provided detailed and thought-provoking tours of the US Capitol to constituents

As an intern on Capitol Hill at the start of a new administration and Congress, I had the opportunity to witness the passage of landmark legislation including the American Rescue Plan, and aided in the introduction of bills in my areas of interest, most notably in public health. Working in Congress in the aftermath of January 6 also introduced tough conversations surrounding the nature and health of our democracy.As a legislative intern, I:- categorized constituent communication using the IQ system and draft correspondence aligning on issues of constituent interest such as COVID-19 relief, immigration reform, student loans, and environmental legislation- facilitated stakeholder communication and conducted legislative research to advance Representative Castor’s priorities, resulting in the introduction of H.R. 1550, “PREVENT HPV Cancers Act”, among other pieces for the legislative team- developed memos from legislative hearings/briefings on a variety of issues to present to staff/the Representative- informed voters of Representative Castor’s policies through the phone and summarized calls by issue for the legislative team- drafted communications, such as tweets/Facebook posts and graphs, for Representative Castor’s press secretary- managed a remote intern networking group with over 70 members that met weekly throughout the semester
