Lawyer from the Universidad Católica de Chile, Master of Laws in Litigation (LL.M.) from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, and Master of Public Administration MPA from American University.Founding Partner of JUSLAT Justicia Latinoamérica, a private international organization that provides research, advisory, consultancy and training services on justice reform, access to justice, human rights, strategic litigation, management and digital transformation.Member of the Board of Directors of Aguas Andinas S.A., practicing attorney, international consultant on matters of justice reform, international instructor in oral litigation skills and strategies, and university professor.He was the executive director of the Justice Studies Center of the Americas (JSCA) (2014-2021), promoting the transformation of justice systems in Latin America and the Caribbean.Between 2010 and 2020 he was a senior partner at the Jara & Marín Law Firm. He served as CORFO's (The Chilean Economic Development Agency) General counsel and member of the board of directors of Aguas Andinas (2006-2010).He was Deputy Secretary (Vice Minister) of Justice of Chile (2000-2006), a period in which he promoted cutting-edge reforms in Chilean justice: accusatory criminal system, oral family and labor justice, among others. He has taught and delivered talks at the University of Santiago, the Judicial Academy of Chile, and the Law Schools of the University of Chile, Catholic University of Chile and American University, among others.He is currently a professor of justice, technology and litigation in the International Diploma and the Postgraduate Course at the Alberto Hurtado University in Chile, as well as in several Universities and Judicial Academies in Argentina.
