Reviews and recommends new, revised and improved management policies, practices, procedures and methods of monitoring IWD’s commitment to Equal Opportunity (EO), non-discrimination, and diversity in the workplace. Develops and publishes IWD’s procedures for processing discrimination complaints, develops procedures for investigating and resolving discrimination complaints filed against IWD. Oversees the development and implementation of IWD’s Nondiscrimination Plan.Serves as the IWD EO Liaison with the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) for reporting and compliance with the State of Iowa EO policies and procedures. Conducts internal investigations across the state of Iowa on allegations of unlawful discrimination by IWD employees, local partner agencies, and contractors working in support of WOIA projects. Conducts local office compliance reviews at American Job Centers (AJCs).
