Responsible for leading the Technical area at Third Pillar Solar focusing on the development of floating PV (FPV) solar projects in North America.

 Lead the 19 members (3 managers, 16 analysts globally) of the Global Performance Management team to analyze performance and engineering technical diagnoses of over 10,000 MW of wind and solar projects in Europe and the Americas, benchmark asset performance and develop business intelligence tools. Manage the Asset Performance team to allow for effective technical management of global fleet issues, configuration changes, controller upgrades and retrofits. Manage the Performance Analysis teams in North America and Europe to ensure effective development of automated algorithms and dashboards/tools to help proactively detect, report and analyze technical operational issues. Support the self-perform operational wind and solar projects by implementing labor utilization and personnel management tools and processes to allow for an optimized resource management at the site level. Create and lead a team of condition monitoring analysts to monitor software-based CMS tools and analyze vibration data for predictive fleet maintenance. Implement a Big Data strategy globally for effective data management and infrastructure overhaul allowing for reporting and analysis from disparate data sources. Work with reliability engineers to identify technical turbine modifications and major component reliability modeling that can increase performance, and improve O&M cost modeling for existing and future projects.

 Lead the 12 members (1 manager, 11 analysts globally) of the Global Performance Analysis team to analyze performance of over 9000 MW of wind farms in Europe and the Americas, benchmark asset performance and develop business intelligence tools. Implement a Performance Indicators program to create automated algorithms that are leading indicators of turbine underperformance to allow for effective predictive maintenance. Identify performance improvement opportunities and complete detailed comparisons against budgeted expectations. Support development of standard business processes at our operating plants to ensure uptime and revenue are maximized and workload is minimized. Work with reliability engineers to identify technical turbine modifications that can increase performance, and quantify the financial benefit to the project

 Lead the Performance Analysis team of 4 analysts to analyze performance of over 4000 MW of wind farms, benchmark asset performance and develop business intelligence tools. Implement and improve the operational reporting and analysis tools to automate analysis and identification of turbine inefficiencies. Identify performance improvement opportunities and complete detailed comparisons against budgeted expectations. Support development of standard business processes at our operating plants to ensure uptime and revenue are maximized and workload is minimized. Work with reliability engineers to identify technical turbine modifications that can increase performance, and quantify the financial benefit to the project

 Responsible for the performance of over 4000 MW of wind turbines across North America, and initiating a generator reliability program. Manage, evaluate and implement upto $8M worth of power improvements on the Vestas and Acciona fleet to optimize and increasing the operating efficiency of the turbines Manage and coordinate technical resolution of turbine issues and retrofits to maintain high component reliability Interface with manufacturers and subject matter experts to identify technology viability and improvement opportunities Perform due diligence and manage company processes for reviewing turbine designs and incorporate lessons learned into future commercial and supply agreements

 Perform analyses on wind turbine performance to troubleshoot existing issues and reduce downtime for our operational wind farms. My initiatives include identifying performance improvement opportunities, efficiency initiatives and completing detailed comparisons against budgeted availability numbers. Responsible for creating automated tools using SQL queries to collect data and VB.NET, ASP.NET and Microsoft Reporting Services to analyze and report turbine faults and offline turbines data. Analyze major component reliability and upkeep O&M model to predict failure rates of wind turbine components for the 20 or 25-year life of the wind farms. Brainstormed and developed an automated system to retrieve and scrub third-party lightning data to identify worst hit turbines to conduct proactive and corrective inspections on. Managed the implementation and development of a Business Process Management suite to be used across the Asset Operations department to better be able to track and collaborate on long-standing issues plaguing the sites.
