I defend businesses of all sizes in commercial, employment, and mass tort litigation. I have experience in the state and federal courts of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia. I also have appellate experience. I have briefed and argued before the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, and briefed before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. I frequently serve as local counsel for national firms in cases pending in Maryland state and federal courts.I am a member of the board of directors of the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Additionally, I am a member of the board of directors for Camp Attaway, a non-profit organization that provides a camp and programming for children with emotional and behavioral challenges. I am also an active member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and am an appointed member of DRI's Law Institute. In my role on DRI's Law Institute, I have overseen the planning of national seminars on employment law, toxic torts and environmental law, and diversity and inclusion.
