I am primarily a creative director and designer from Chicago, currently residing in downtown Raleigh, NC, where I co-run the independent brand Munjo Munjo, and help manage our storefront and production studio.My work history is heavily rooted in the music industry — ranging from "local" unsigned acts, to internationally established icons — where I've helped market reunion tours, book releases, and general digital content. Mar 2011 - Mar 2012Chicago, Il, UsWhat we did: Worked with companies to increase efficiency and productivity through the creation of mobile apps, largely used for interior use at major corporations.Duties: Remotely working with other designers and developers to design user-friendly iOS apps. I created the visual elements of the apps — from creating original icons, to the entirety of an app's UI/UX. — sometimes by wireframes, sometimes by concept alone. This required an understanding of what makes apps friendly to use, as well as the thought process of their users, in addition to UI trends.Clients: Groupon, Pepsi, Kimberly Clark, Bombardier/LearJet, and others-----I began as a contract designer for one project, and was quickly given responsibility for full projects. I was considered for their first full-time, in-house design team, but the company was bought by SalesForce, and the company's structure was shuffled. -
