As a Business Development Executive at Brexia LLC, I focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow our market presence. Currently working as a Public Health Specialist under the Communicable Disease Unit at Austin Public Health's Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division. I am tasked with providing case management services for clients within our program. These services include counseling, testing, outreach, and education for our clients. As part of the Communicable Disease Unit, our main focus is on disease prevention efforts for all of Travis County.

I began my career in the Healthcare Industry working in Public Health as part of Austin Public Health's COVID-19 emergency response efforts. During my time working as part of the COVID-19 response, I gained valuable disease surveillance and case management experience working as a contact tracer at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a contact tracer, I was tasked with providing counseling/education for Travis County residents who had become ill with COVID-19. As the pandemic progressed, I was able to work in other areas of our COVID-19 response efforts. I gained valuable experience in healthcare administration/planning by working with our COVID-19 vaccine distribution team to help set up vaccination clinics for Travis County residents. I also gained some experience in epidemiology by working on a research project that helped identify barriers to COVID-19 vaccinations among Travis County residents.
