• Assisted the Team Lead in planning and managing the execution of services carried out in our partner schools (School Social Work)• Recognising the specific needs of the partners, worked effectively with a team to conduct preventive, holistic year-long programmes to the lower Secondary students in the Normal Stream across a range of schools with different student profiles over the years• Effectively applied basic counselling techniques on the student cases assigned, conducting groupwork sessions where necessary • Actively engaged the various systems surrounding the clients, working closely with their families, peers and the school, while tapping on their strengths and available resources• Co-led family events and sessions to strengthen the family units, conducting home visits where necessary and referring them to the relevant resources for additional help• Collaborated with the community partners to help them understand the work better so as to have their continual support• Volunteered to be part of the organization’s Staff Wellness Committee for 2 years, before eventually chairing the team for a year, advocating got staff wellness by pushing for policies/practices to be implemented, organizing staff events and the end-of-year retreats
