Jaime was the CEO and founder of ML System Design and successfully transitioned this business from ‘box shifter’ to ‘VAR’ to ‘SI’ company over the course of 7 years. During this time, in 1996, he started a wholesale distribution company, Raidar Distribution Australia Pty Ltd which specialised in RAID storage and backup solutions for the Printing, Prepress and Video Editing industries and establishing a nationwide network of dealers and sub-distributors. In 1998 Jaime acquired a number of small businesses, amongst them Amlex Pty Ltd a boutique ISP which provided web hosting, dialup internet access and web development services to businesses customers, and IO Sync Pty Ltd who were early pioneers in web enabled database development, and it was through these endeavours he was led to create one of the world’s first Wireless Broad Band companies in Raidnet Pty Ltd, in 1999, which expanded rapidly over the next 2 years establishing a presence in South Africa, India and Malaysia.
