• Implement a new product to manufacturing, as well as defining NPI processes that are fit for purpose, from scratch.• Implement NPI procedures across the business, working closely with Quality Management and other stakeholders and coordinate with the Design & Development team to develop strategies for new product introduction to manufacture.• Prepare project timelines and identify resources requirements and evaluate product, process and quality requirements for the manufacturing process.• Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to required policies, procedures and regulations and prepare plans for NPI projects and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality of products.• Coordinate across the business to develop and implement Manufacturing Plans for products and develop product test plans and perform production tests according to manufacturing process instructions and evaluate and conduct risk assessments across the production process.• Manage integration of all products according to product lifecycle and monitor operations of product and evaluate designs and ensure adherence to good manufacturing principles.• Define and conduct verification and validation activities within manufacturing for both new products as well as manufacturing tools, jigs and equipment.

Core Responsibilities:• Develop and manage new product introductions to suit customer specifications from concept through to completion by coordinating and leading the project while also liaising with suppliers, contractors and internal resources to deliver the project on time• Design mechanical equipment, components and products for manufacturing as per DFM principles and according to ADRs• Develop and follow all procedures and documentation for various gates of product development from concept to final product launch, such as APQP which also includes FMEA, engineering drawings and review, risk assessments, work instructions, installation instructions and compliance reports• Perform the simulation (FEA) using solidworks to optimize the design and to determine the mechanical resistance of the product• Create and maintain supplier, internal and customer drawings• Complete and manage Engineering Change Requests for continuing product development to reduce costs or improve safety, quality or environmental impacts• Ensure that production have the necessary tools, jigs and fixtures to manufacture safely, accurately and efficiently• Assist in non-conformance root cause investigations and development and implementation of corrective actions• Develop and deliver lean six sigma projects along with raising the CAPEX proposals• Identify root cause of production downtime and develop and implement corrective actions• Create and maintain BOM accuracy• Monitor and review continuous improvement projects and action plan• Assist Systems Administrator in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS 4801 requirements while also conducting internal audits• Monitor First Pass Yield and Overall Equipment Efficiency for different processes and equipment’s respectively to analyse and trend data• Perform reverse engineering while utilizing FARO Arm RevEng Capture software and hardware to assist through various engineering projects
