Hyderabad site lead for Google Map operations. This is amongst the largest delivery programs in Google with 3000+ vendors in Hyderabad to create, curate and ensure high quality freshness for Google Maps across the world with 110Mn+ listings with ~25% iterations. Launched User Generated Content operations across 122 countries and territories. Founded and scaled global maps spam review operations. Led the cross functional initiative across product, engineering and operations to thwart multiple spam attacks on Google maps.

Founded the APAC finance ops team for to support multi currency payments, advertiser fraud and risk, credit and collections for Google advertisers across APAC. Turned around significant credit risk situation in APAC during the 2008 credit crisis. Recognised by Google’s CFO for the turnaround story.

Start up venture promoted by ICICI Bank to create a shared technology platform for rural offline banking. Equity holders in the venture included ICICI Bank, IFC (World Bank), Indian Bank, Corporation Bank, Union Bank of India, ICICI Lombard, LIC and other private investors. Set up backend operations to service clients like ICICI Bank, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Corporation bank and various MFIs to include, smart card issuance, terminal installation, transaction processing, helpdesk and reconciliation. Set up field operations across rural India for the client banks across 9 states. Over two hundred thousand clients were enrolled on biometrics with capacity built to enroll 10000 customers per day. The platform eventually scaled to support over 25 Million customers over the next five years.

Led a small R & D team of four working in ICICI Bank to explore offline banking solutions for deployment in rural India and micro finance segments. Set up the bank’s first smart card based offline banking transaction platform for rural Initiatives. Grew to a 70+ member start up and 150+ outsourced staff spread across the country. The initiative was moved out of ICICI Bank as a start up - FINO.

11 years in multiple combat leadership and administrative roles across the country. Commissioned a new anti terrorism unit into intense counter terrorism operations in Kashmir. The unit emerged most successful in the region claiming 11 of the 16 militants eliminated in a period of 8 months. Amongst the youngest to command one of the largest companies in Siachen glacier.
