Raindance is a global organization that works to support and promote independent filmmaking and filmmakers. We have 12 hubs worldwide, and run Europe's oldest and largest independent film festival: the Raindance Film Festival. As the Executive Director of Raindance Canada I oversaw program development/execution, community growth, administration and financial systems development in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

As the CFI Toronto Executive Director I produced a calendar of events which reflected CFI’s mandate concerning science education and secularism, developed and expanded the CFI Toronto community and helped coordinate Canada-wide activities under the direction of the National Office. Responsibilities• Created and executed large-scale fundraising events with high-profile speakers such as Richard Dawkins, Lawrence Krauss, William B. Davies, Chris Mooney, and Penn Gillette. • Created, programmed and managed a diverse calendar of events such as lectures, book clubs and pub nights• Cultivated relationships with existing CFI membership and developed new members• Developed and led CFI Toronto volunteer team• Represented CFI Toronto, where necessary, in local media• Frequently spoke publicly concerning CFI’s mandate and programming• Represented CFI Canada at national conferences• Updated and managed CFI Toronto website, Facebook, Twitter and Meetup• Produced a CFI Toronto newsletter at least once a week• Developed relationships with other skeptic, science education and secular groups such as campus groups, Skeptics in the Pub, Meetup groups etc.• Maintained a CFI Toronto treasury
