I currently work as a Senior Project Engineer in the now COVID-19 impacted world. My role involves supporting all body interior through prototype verification builds for next generation Ranger and Everest products, managing COVID-19 workplace through lockdowns with limited people numbers onsite and relaying information from site to engineers working remotely to solve issues and ensure the design verification process can stay on track with the new remote way of working. This roll was undertaken con-currently with completing product verification/development for the next generation global Ranger/Everest Air conditioning system ensuring it is in compliance to Co2 emissions and government regulations for over 150 markets and meeting the Ford Built tough mantra for durability and performance.

Transitioning from a contractor to a salaried employee for Ford Australia. I supported prototype verification builds for the wider body interior team and completed the design verification process for the climate system for the North American P375N Ranger product. It involved applying failure mode avoidance tools such as DFMEA, P Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams to identify potential system failure modes and implement sufficient countermeasures to ensure a flawless launch of the product. Worked on global compressor sourcing strategies and identification of new potential suppliers for the Asian market including a international assignment to undertake site assessments of potential suppliers through India.

I worked as a contractor to Ford Australia as an applications engineer with the Asia Pacific body interior climate team. Delivering the refrigerant sub system for the re launched 2019 MY Ford Ranger . My role involves leading multi-national supplier teams to develop components that meet Ford quality standards, achieve program cost/performance targets within program timing milestones. I interfaced with cross functional design teams to ensure climate system performance and durability objectives are met while minimizing impact on other vehicle components.

My role concentrated on the translation of customer wants into design content and quality targets for new vehicle programs. It involved understanding key quality metrics used to define customer expectations as well as define vehicle quality performance in the field. I applied failure mode avoidance tools into the product development process for future vehicles to ensure the delivery of a customer focused product.

I worked on projects that involved the installation and manufacture of piping systems including heat exchangers, pumps and tanks on large industrial sites such as the Amcor B9 Paper Mill in Botany Sydney. My role with these projects concentrated on the project management side, looking into program scheduling and maintaining inventory, site inspections, tendering and assisting with the writing of safe work procedures.

I Raised money for various charities in the form of raffle sales through a series of cold and warm calls. I was involved with training new agents and organising a personal roster. I worked with clients such as the RSPCA and the PCYC
