As a Public Relations Head, my responsibility involves maintaining good media relations, creatively promoting the festival, Signing PR deals including various regional, national and multinational newspapers and newschannels like Hindustan Times, Mid-Day, Zee24taas, Free Press Journal, Gujarati Mid-Day, Maharashtra Times, Mumbai Times, Amrit India, Brut.India, Filmfare etc. We also signed Zee24taas, InShorts, Wallop Advertising, Simca Advertising, LytAds, 108.4 IshqFM, McDonalds, M-indicator, L'utopia Magazine, ONTV Digitec, India Forums, M&A Innovation, Filmygyaan, RVCJ Media and many more. Hereby effectively conveying the essence of Kshitij to a worldwide audience.This year, as a PR Head we were also responsible for continuing the legacy of being the only college festival hosting events for the specially abled - Para Events.We organised four events - Dance, Music, Para Talent Show and Painting, having 200+ participants,out of which 80 participants were shortlisted for finals, our job was to maintain logistics and sheets, giving prior setup requirements for these events to be conducted, bringing in sponsors and felicitating them, managed celebrity judges for various events and also ran a campaign for McDonalds regarding EatQual for the specially abled.We also managed to host 5 social causes this year - AASTHA ( Talk show by acid attack survivors), Beach clean up, IND-PAK match screening with under privileged children, Diwali celebration with mentally challenged children, Candle march at Gateway of India with Sameer Wankhede on 26/11, in collaboration with The Rotary Club of Mumbai City.
