SmartSCM provides web-based technology solutions for global transportation management. As head of application development, I worked with key customers to develop the product roadmap and deliver responsive web applications using a unique Data-driven framework. I enjoyed the start-up culture and privilege of participating in leading-edge challenges like Global Optimization functionality for container logistics and empty container repositioning.

Starting at the inception of IT Services in 2009, I helped define the mission and goals of the start-up division. I led the Relationship Management, Global Delivery Management, IT Governance and Business Development with external clients and DST business units across Financial Services, Healthcare and Customer Communications. I also led delivery capability maturity and process discipline programs.✔ Increased annual revenue 400% to over $80M (2015) as part of the core team driving business development of IT Services; and helped achieve 300% Organizational growth with over 2,300 associates in US, India and Thailand in 6 years.✔ Managed business outcomes and IT delivery of 400 global associates, working with onsite Client Leaders.✔ Established Communities of Practice (CoP) in Test Automation and Assurance Services (TAAS) and Reporting, Analytics and Data Warehouse (RADW), conceiving new frameworks and products that increased return on investment and improved quality.✔ Facilitated transformation to Agile culture and Lean software development approach for product portfolio by partnering with DST Financial Services, designing organization for responsiveness and governing for value.✔ Defined and effectively presented consistent company position and message through all avenues of client contact.

I managed teams of 30 associates in multiple US locations with budget of over $5M. I directed hiring, performance management and evaluations, mentoring, and coaching of technical teams of programmers, analysts, web designers and testers.✔ Formulated product roadmap of Wealth Management platform and led business negotiations with multiple alliance partners, creating new business line for DST. Directed system architecture and software development of core platform and 3rd-party interfaces, resulting in industry-leading Brokerage platform for mutual funds and alternative Investments.✔ Delivered large and strategic Client Conversion project on-time and within budget, helping DST dominate mutual fund outsourced services marketplace. Cross-functional initiative spanned DST enterprise and technologies, and included system interfaces with over 200 external entities.✔ Established and grew new Workstation Development teams in various geographies. Led organizational initiative to conceive, conceptualize, and collaborate with clients and DST leadership on new product strategy for Corporate Action Workstation and delivered on C++ and Windows NT technology stack using Rapid Application Development concepts like Joint Application Design (JAD), Case tools and Unified Modelling Language (UML).✔ Pioneered development of 1st rich-client browser application at DST using Java, IE and evolving web technology stack, using Extreme Programming (XP) methodology employing concepts like pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring and continuous integration.✔ Spearheaded 1st large-scale Microsoft C# & .NET application at DST, and system integration with other enterprise applications in diverse technology environments, maintaining consistent user experience.

► DST Systems - I led the development of self-learning system ‘Editscrub’ on IBM Mainframe platform using Artificial Intelligence principles. Editscrub is a rule-base to mimic the human intelligence and heuristics of a Knowledge worker, to recognize components of registration information that determines the legal ownership and registration category of a Mutual Fund account. Implementation of this automation saved one mutual funds client $20M+ annually and resulted in reassignment of 200 associates from the tedious manual work.► Yellow Technology Services (subsidiary of Yellow Freight Services, a leader in LTL freight industry) - I worked on advanced auto-rating project targeted to dramatically improve percentage of freight bills auto-rated and auto re-rated. I led analysis, design, development and installation IBM mainframe project implementation, resulting in improved auto-rating from 15% to 60+%, saving $8M annually.► Kemper Mutual Funds - I led the development as Project Manager, of ‘Best Case’ price functionality on the mainframe platform for customers investing in Kemper Funds. I was involved in facilitating presentations of Best Pricing project to the management, and responsible for all deliverables for the project. In the earlier phase, I was involved as the Project Manager with the MAS Institutional Interface (MASII) project, helping external agencies like Brokers and Dealers interact with core Mutual Fund systems.► Signet Card, Basildon, UK - I developed and implemented the new state-of-the-art Corporate Card system, as a strategic product development for one of the largest credit card processor in business with most of the UK banks. ► Woolwich Building Society, London, UK - I participated in the Analysis and Design of Personal Loans systems. It was an online mainframe application and provided functionality in the areas of Loan Origination, Administration, Accounting, Collection & Recovery and MIS.
