• Responsible for all aspects of Indian Chemical and Petrochemical industry. • This involves networking with a very large number of sectoral industry bodies with varied interests as also other stakeholders and approaching the Policy makers with evolved views. • Development of equations with important stakeholders / experts in various areas over a period of time.• Preparing / supporting in preparation of submissions to the government / short briefs with the help of the industry inputs• Responsible for preparing programs/discussion/agenda papers as also speeches / talking points for important participants such as policy makers and that is very useful for our views articulation. Such policy makers include dignitaries & industry captains. This provides a good opportunity for undertaking in depth research work and I find it very useful for keeping pace with changing scenarios.• Organising focussed sectoral Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Round Tables, Consensus building Brain storming sessions - It provides platforms for analysis of issues and also exchange of views and discussions to formulate strategies for way forward. • Such programs are organized in various parts of the country, and also provide an opportunity for my interaction with diverse stakeholders which include domain experts who share knowledge as speakers/ or participants which may include end users, or those from civic society. Such interactions help in formulation of balanced view points. This has also helped me in improving my communication skills.
