As the technical member of E-360 team, I worked on three key products-A. Smart Pipeline - I owned and maintained the Smart Pipeline (SPL) solution, collaborated with the Product Owner to prioritize enhancements and defects, proposed solutions for the functionalities, and implemented several key features. These included identifying network device issues, onboarding alerts for automated processing, creating automated tickets with third-party service providers, suppressing noise, and automating troubleshooting for devices each month. Additionally, I participated in onboarding from a 3rd party to a 1st party networking device monitoring tool and created a Power BI impact dashboard. I created a proof of concept for routing rules in the Self-Service Portal, a dynamic and complex screen developed using ReactJS/MS Coherence.B. Classification of Actionable and Non-Actionable Tickets - This involves enhancing the Smart Pipeline system to automatically identify the root cause ticket among clusters of incidents generated by a given event. As a developer on the project, I participated in the design discussions and identification of features and labels required to train the machine learning model, worked on identifying the most suitable algorithm to provide probabilistic prediction, and helped in finalizing the overall architecture of the solution. The new model leverages supervised classification to automatically identify the root cause ticket, eliminating the need for network engineers to manually analyze clusters, saving a significant amount of time and effort.C. Anomaly Detection - It aimed to predict bad device health in MS network and report it to engineers before failure, thereby preventing outages and increasing availability. We modeled the normal device behavior and defined margin boundaries, and tagged any parameter outside these boundaries as an anomaly. As a developer, I participated in design discussions and helped identify data points needed to train the model.

The E360 Workflow Platform Engineering project focuses on using automation to manage local networks at Microsoft. The project manages signals generated by networking devices with minimal human intervention through the Smart Pipeline workflow. As part of the team, I worked on developing and testing the auto closure of AT&T tickets, making Power BI changes for GreenMaker reporting, and creating a proof of concept for creating routing rules in the self-service portal using ReactJS/MS Coherence.

Beyond School aimed to provide STEM education to young kids in an innovative way that made these subjects interesting and intuitive for them. It also created a platform for non-working educators to create and offer their own education programs in STEM learning space.

Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India

FFIC, a California, US-based commercial insurance company, is a member of the Allianz group, the world’s largest provider of insurance and financial services. The scope of this project is to maintain and enhance the Policy system. Key lines of business handled in the project include Automobile Insurance and General liability insurance. As a Business Analyst, I study and analyze the requirements through client and end-user customers, convert those requirements into functional specifications which are consumed by developers and testers, assist the development and testing teams by providing clarifications wherever needed, and perform UAT on the developed code.

Wellpoint, US – Three times a year, CMS sends out a release memo outlining the changes that will be made by them to the existing files/processes or the introduction of the new processes that must be created in the system. We implemented these changes in the Wellpoint’s system to ensure that it remains compliant with the CMS. As the Project Lead, I analyzed the business and technical requirements, converted those into technical design after discussing it with client, onsite coordinator and team members and drove the implementation of the solution. Along with the technical responsibilities, I also managed the project team, estimated the project and created the mid & low level plans. I also tracked and reported the project progress on various parameters.

Noida

Bank of Ireland, Dublin – Bookkeeping is a core application of the Bank of Ireland. The application does all the nightly processing on accounts; calculate/post fee charges and Interest. There are always enhancements required on the bookkeeping system on the basis of business requirements. These requirements get implemented in the form of change requests. The bookkeeping project is Perot System engagement with BOI to provide support dealing with these change requests. As a Module Lead and Software Developer, I was involved in the analysis and technical design of various modules over a period. I also converted these designs into mainframe code using various mainframe technologies. I also performed the Unit and System testing. Later, I mentored many developers and led them to successfully deliver these modules.
