As the Head of the Wireless Connectivity and Sensing Group at Bosch Research, I leverage my 20+ years of experience in wireless R&D to create innovative solutions for various markets, such as automotive, industrial, building, and residential. My mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in wireless AI, RF localization and sensing, intelligent connectivity, cooperative wireless networks, and lightweight implementation, and to support Bosch's business units, legal, and venture capital with my expertise. I have initiated and led several key research topics and projects, such as Perfectly Keyless, a vehicle access system that won the Bosch Innovation Award 2019 and the CES Innovation Award 2019 Honoree, and Smart Charge Docking for Rovers, a NASA Tipping Point project on wireless charging for lunar payloads. I have also authored 85+ patents & external publications, and 55+ Bosch internal reports, and served as a judge for prestigious industry awards and contests including CES. I received Robert Bosch Inventor Award for my work on UWB systems in 2023. I recently obtained a Certificate of Excellence in Technology Strategy from the Berkeley Haas School of Business, and I enjoy mentoring and developing high-performing diverse teams.
