Jairo Orozco is an individual who not only is devoted and motivated, but continuously maintains a passion for working and success. Currently a Senior at Farmingdale State College, Orozco is focused on majoring in Applied Psychology while minoring in Sport Management and continuing his passion for psychology further after university. His level of success and leadership throughout his experience at Farmingdale State College as Student Government Association (SGA) President and a number of a variety of extracurriculars makes him a well rounded and versatile learner, that has been able to beneficially balance both work and education. No matter the challenge at hand, he regularly utilizes beneficial critical thinking skills accompanied with positive effort to always confirm a task is complete to the full extent and beyond.From being a dedicated team member at local businesses such as JJ Coopers, past work experience and current positions have furthered his skill level and made himself a knowledgeable and flexible worker that is able to fully comprehend any position he is provided with. Working in the business field has allowed him to expose himself to the daily operations of business as well as strengthen his problem solving skills. Constantly thinking and being able to adjust to a given situation has helped him become a better student, as well as a better member of his community, which he continues to improve upon in the future.
