Jairo has served as Information & Technology Manager for Tetra Tech ARD Consolidation and Enhanced Livelihoods Initiative (CELI) - Central Region Program in Colombia since 2011. He joined Tetra Tech ARD in December 2006 as a Software Development Specialist under MIDAS Program (More Investment for Sustainable Alternative Development). His main achievement under MIDAS program was the development of a software solution named SIM (MIDAS Information System) in 2006.As a result of his remarkable performance, in 2009 Jairo Fonseca was awarded “MIDAS Factor Award”. It is also important to mention his commitment to ARD and his contribution to other Tetra Tech ARD projects, such as ADP/SW project (Afghanistan). In this particular case, he travelled to Tetra Tech ARD headquarters to adapt SIM Approvals module to Afghanistan's project and provided training to the project's staff in the administration of the system.On November 2019, Jairo is being recognized by Tetra Tech ARD for his winning entry to the Living our Values contest. His entry for our in-house IT platform Mission was selected by the Tetra Tech International Development Services Compliance and Ethics Task Force as a winner for the Technical Innovation theme and for more than a decade, Jairo has been instrumental in the development, maintenance, troubleshooting and training of new users of the Mission system used by CELI, CDLO, LRDP and LFP projects. The system is not only used for contractual, approval and logistics purposes but is key to real-time information sharing with our client, USAID.
