My journey as a graphic designer at Franklin Sports was an exhilarating blend of creativity and sports enthusiasm. With Franklin Sports being a hub for official gear from major leagues like MLB, NFL, MLS, and NHL, as well as a range of college sports and indoor games, my role involved crafting a wide array of graphics for diverse products. My design portfolio extended to brands such as Nickelodeon, MLB, and NFL, covering a spectrum of sports equipment like soccer balls, baseballs, basketball hoops, and hockey games. Additionally, I had the exciting challenge of designing the retail displays for brick-and-mortar stores, ensuring our products were showcased effectively. A particularly rewarding moment in my career was during a visit to Venezuela, where I stumbled upon a sports goods store displaying a soccer ball I had designed. Seeing my work appreciated globally was a profound and gratifying experience, underscoring the reach of my designs in the world.

In my role as a designer for 'Providence en Español,' a prominent local Hispanic newspaper, I was entrusted with the critical task of designing all the layouts and advertisements for the weekly publication. This position demanded exceptional attention to detail, as the paper had a wide circulation, printing hundreds of thousands of copies each week. Any error in design not only had the potential to impact the newspaper's reputation but also carried significant financial implications. My responsibilities extended beyond just the creative aspects; I closely collaborated with the sales representatives to ensure that advertisements were successfully sold, which then allowed me to craft and strategically place these ads. This role required a delicate balance of creativity, precision, and teamwork, all while working under the pressure of weekly deadlines and the high stakes of mass printing.
