As student body president at Clackamas Community College (CCC), I found my passion to help voices be heard and to have public-serving organizations be held accountable to serve all. It is difficult for me to be satisfied knowing others are miserable, knowing I can do something about it. I received the Cougie Award for exemplary leadership from CCC in 2018.Lara Media Services provides me the opportunity to lift the voices of the underserved and strengthen the often overlooked communities in the Northwest. They allow me to leverage my role to do my part towards a more socially just world. I use my values, ethics, diplomacy, research, and production skills to manage and strategize impactful multicultural and multilingual research projects that bridge the gap between public-serving organizations with historically underserved and overburdened communities. My current role requires community outreach and engagement, analysis and reporting, and various media production tasks using an equity lens. Past clients include Oregon State Bar, Clean Water Services, and Oregon Metro.
