My name is Jaisen Gonzalez and I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a 3.8 GPA and a B.S. in Criminal Justice in the Fall of 2021 with the help of the full-ride Florida Bright Futures Medallion Scholarship. Since then, I have been finding my place in corporate America hoping to set my roots and grow from the ground up with a welcoming company. I strive to one day attend Law School and obtain my J.D., but until then I am dedicated to gaining experience and putting in the effort to achieve my goal. In hopes of one day becoming an advocate for the people, I hope to diversify myself as much as possible to gather the experience needed to carry out my duties as a lawyer. Through my experience as a Logistics Specialist, I am accomplished in developing multiple efficient processes and safeguards on a federal level concerning subcontracting, purchasing, and fleet management. Intermediate negotiation skills including contract verbiage revisions and pricing included. Excellent coordination in purchasing and delivery of equipment, materials, and resources. I have created quality systems to streamline communication and reduce response times as well as purchasing efficiency. I have tenured experience in invoice review and packing slips to ensure compliance with regulations and our warehouse codes. In addition to the logistics portion of my career, I have recently obtained my 215 Insurance License and am an active Health and Life insurance agent. The experience gained through the last couple of months has shown me the patience and kindness needed when dealing with consumers of all age groups and backgrounds. Empathy is something looked over when it comes to any form of business, yet it should be what comes first. Understanding the needs and wants of consumers by simply listening can do a world of wonders!
