Responsible for Business growth in North America for TCS Interactive - which is the Digital Agency of Tata Consultancy Services, across all the Industry verticals.Led North American sales and business development across BFSI, Communication, Media, Manufacturing, and Public Services sectors.

As the Digital head(and BRM) for one of TCS Industry Solution Units in North America , I was primarily handling the existing customer relationships and work with the owners of these individual accounts (Client partners and Business Relationship Managers) to explore opportunities and win projects and digital software solution sales(of BigData, Mobility, Digital Marketing products developed by the Digital Units) at these client locations, wherever applicable

Managing currently a team of 60+ team members, spreading across 1 product team and 4 project teams. I believe in team work and the power of synergies through a motivated team. We were able to convert a very technical idea which initially noone wanted in to a useful and much needed product in 1.5 years time, through the collective ideas and suggestions from the team, and their hardwork.

I have joined this BFS account (which is one of the oldest and largest BFS accounts of TCS) and worked in various roles, including programmer and module lead at offshore, and then as onshore coordinator, Application Architect and as the Programme Manager at onshore for the team. During this period, apart from the regular project work, I was able to come up with and implement several innovative solutions and reengineering initiatives, which saved millions of dollars in operating expenses of the decade old mainframe based system, but also reduced the time needed to implement business changes (e.g. from a six months to 1 year process for adding a new data field in to the system before my changes, to just 15 days to 1 month after our changes). Also, I have participated in and later lead the set up and operations of a quality control team for the platform. Through the customer trust and appreciations we achieved through these initiatives, TCS team grew from a 5 member team in 2004 to about 50 people when I left the team, especially in a multi-vendor environment where cut throat competition existed.

Was in charge of the Conceptualization, design and overseeing the implementation of large and medium projects in the account which I was handling. The system was very complex with front end in Java web pages and Internet sites, and back end as multiple mainframes with MQ Series middleware. The solutions I was involved was covering all these platforms, for the global rollout.

I was in charge of managing about 6 supervisors and 30 technicians under them in their day to day operations at India’s top Maruti Suzuki service chain’s workshop. Also, I had to take up the customer relationship management activities and business development activities.

Underwent training in various departments of the newsprint factory and worked with the engineers and technicians in the annual maintenance activities, breakdown maintenance etc.
