Growing up in a small town in Kerala, India, where my father ran a small business, I saw firsthand the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. But I did well in school so my aunt helped pay for college where I discovered my interest in software development. After earning my engineering degree, I was recruited by Infosys and trained in Java and Oracle. I also attended the Infosys Leadership Institute. When I went to work for Neiman Marcus Group I had amazing mentors who set examples around respecting and rewarding people, mentoring, identifying, and developing others’ potential, all while excelling in technology innovation and transformation. This made a lifelong imprint on me.Today as an entrepreneurial data strategy and technology leader I define, build, execute, and lead initiatives that accelerate operational efficiency, business processes and competitive advantage.
