Responded to the Government’s Operation Bushfire Assistance 2019, to assist with bushfire recovery tasks, particularly in the east coast NSW and ACT regions. Led a team of soldiers to undertake road clearance to open closed roads, deliver food and water to isolated towns, remove debris to protect and allow access to infrastructure. I supervised 25 Indonesian military personnel, who assisted with our bushfire recovery.This job is part time in addition to my current full time employment.

In this role, I lead a team of four staff members with differing experiences and characteristics, understanding complex legislation and legal advices to prepare ministerial advice, and maintain stakeholder engagement across the Commonwealth.
