I have been serving as the Head of Sales at RED FM Kerala for over six years, leading a team of 21 talented sales professionals, including five Station Sales Heads across the state. In this role, I oversee all end-to-end sales operations for the Kerala region and spearhead key initiatives focused on driving business growth while meeting our revenue targets and overall business objectives. I began my career with The New Indian Express, where I built a strong foundation in sales. I then transitioned to the shipping and logistics sector with Al Rashed International Shipping Co. in Kuwait, managing project shipment sales for North and Western Europe. Upon returning to the media industry, I joined The Hindu Group in Bangalore, where I managed corporate and semi-corporate clients in the BFSI, IT & ITES, and FMCG verticals in Bangalore, as well as the Business Line, BFSI, and automobile verticals in Central Kerala. At The Times of India Group, I led key verticals such as healthcare & pharma, education, travel & tourism, and international, working across platforms including Print, TV, Digital, & OOH for the Kerala region.In my current role, I am committed to driving revenue growth by strategically capitalizing on both Traditional Revenue (TR) and Non-Traditional Revenue (NTR) opportunities across our extensive network of 69 stations nationwide. I lead my team in fostering sustainable business growth through diverse channels and initiatives, including FCT, NFCT, on-air innovations, and strategic brand content integrations. My role involves managing the rollout of NTR projects, starting with the strategic selection of initiatives based on market conditions and trends, in collaboration with my team. I ensure robust revenue generation through sponsorships, enabling a smooth transition from concept to execution. This includes revenue management of high-impact marquee shows and other on-ground events, all supported by the collective efforts of my team and reinforced by management.I remain committed to pursuing new challenges that inspire growth, innovation, and a lasting impact in an ever-evolving industry.
