Lead the Analytics team at Chewy in their Storefront Web Engineering group.- Implemented and supported Google Analytics, Optimizely, Segment IO, and a multitude of vendor pixels and other analytics tools on the Chewy website.- Was involved in nearly ever major feature release for Chewy's website, along with the mobile apps, as we integrated analytics and ab testing into each of them. Often worked to assist on feature releases as an additional dev.- Designed solutions to any problems for Analytics and AB Testing that may hold up feature releases by sitting with their devs, learning their designs, and crafting solutions into their existing architectures.- Trained the entire engineering group on Analytics and AB testing, including multiple calls with hundreds of engineers.- Hired and trained engineers into the Analytics team, and planned and scoped project work for them.- Built out training materials and documentation for the engineering group along with recorded walkthroughs.

• Developed features for an AWS S3 Cloud integrated Asset Management Platform hosting all assets used by any of the company’s eLearning lessons on a contract basis.• Worked with Vue.js / Vuex.js for the front end, and Node.js for the server side.• Interfaced with AWS S3 API for working with files in storage, as well as CloudFront as the CDN.

• Developed PHP MVC website features and tools for external Wayfair suppliers and professional 3D modeling contractors to interface with our 3D Asset Production team.• Worked with AGILE 3D Asset Production team to design and develop the 3D Render pipeline using PHP endpoints, Python, and Maxscript (3D Studio Max automation).• Used React.js and Backbone.js to improve site performance and maintainability.• Handled critical issues in rotation and on call, and covered for assigned engineers.• Assisted management team in architecturally designing new pipeline components and refactoring existing ones to scale using the Google cloud for compute purposes.

In addition to design and development responsibilities to produce and enhance systems for our Partner Services Group; a business function which directly supports the firm's partners; responsibilities included contributing to managerial decision-making for the team, leading project development through AGILE project life-cycles, managing TFS projects in terms of branches and merges, deployments, and work item tracking as it pertains to AGILE sprints, on-boarding new team members, guiding the transfer of knowledge as needed either to new team members or to other business functions, helping to determine priorities, overseeing the launch of new internal sites, and managing outside consultant development work.

Designed, developed, and supported internal Finance systems to support the business function. Programs varied between supporting strategic planning, to automating balance sheets, foreign exchange models, cash flows, and more.Systems were developed using a multitude of technologies including the .NET Framework working with C# and some Visual Basic for automated models, Oracle databases, SQL Server, and many others.System designs made use of MVC for web development, Entity Framework, NHibernate, web services to support various applications, Add-in development for Excel and Powerpoint, Stored Procedures, and so on.

Participated in Fidelity's LEAP program in which I lead team projects with my fellow participants in AGILE teams, and strengthened my knowledge of business systems. After completion of the LEAP program I worked as a software engineer designing and developing dashboard and systems monitoring applications to support Fidelity's System Performance group.

Worked directly on a project to automate invoice processing for Fidelity's Market Data Administration group. This involved gathering requirements from the Director of Market Data, designing solutions, developing and deploying them to internal environments, reporting on progress and considering feedback with the team during daily stand-up meetings, and presenting results to stakeholders.I was successfully able to carry the design from a loose plan the Director had through to a fully working solution which included automated systems for vendors that send invoices via email as well as those that send via snail mail, an administration tool for a new team that would manage these invoices including a machine-learning OCR function to pull data from the invoice images and insert them into the database automatically, and all supporting security functions to protect both Fidelity and vendor data.

Worked as a tier 1 support technologist assisting campus faculty, staff, and students with any university systems issues or personal technology issues.
