Jaivir is the Vice Chairman of the PwC India Foundation, as also Advisor to the Chairman of PwC in India and Managing Director at PwC India. He is a serving member of the Global Corporate Sustainability Board of the PwC Network and leads the Global Office for Humanitarian Affairs (GOHA) for PwC International. Till recently, Jaivir was the Chairperson of the School for SocialEntrepreneurs India, which supports individuals in building social impact projects in the country throughEnterprise. Jaivir is a strong advocate for meaningful and sustained private sector engagement in humanitarian & development action and has been contributing extensively over the past decade to localize humanitarian response both in the Indian subcontinent and in other regions experiencing protracted crises globally. AsVice Chairman of the PwC India Foundation, Jaivir brings his depth of experience to drive programs onDisaster response and resilience building, education, livelihood, healthcare and others with a focus onReaching out to vulnerable communites in the Aspirational Districts, which are India’s most development challenged regions. As Leader of PwC’s Global Office for Humanitarian Affairs, Jaivir has co-designed and sponsored projects across the globe, including shelter and healthcare projects for Rohingya refugees in the largest displaced peoples camp in the world situated in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. He has spearheaded collaborations with grassroots organisations, government agencies and INGOs in Nepal, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Tajikistan to support vulnerable communites across areas of Covid-19 response, healthcare, WASH, livelihoods, and institutional resilience building. Jaivir is also guiding programs responding to the devastating 2023 earthquake in Turkey and Syria, disaster resilience programs in the Philippines. Jaivir continues to promote and take action towards harnessing the abilities and skills of thePrivate sector in collaboration with other stakeholders to empower communities with the greatest needs. Outside of PwC, Jaivir serves as a trustee on the board of Humentum, a global non-profit working with humanitarian and development organizations to improve how they operate. Jaivir continues to spend some time with the family business where he drives marketing and Strategy for Impact projects pvt ltd, a real estate development company operating in North India, and is also involved in the Nanhi Chhaan Foundation, a not-for-profit institution set up by his family to address development issues relating to theGirl Child and Women.
