Completion of several Teams telephony projects - most notably a multi-national multi-SBC implementation with SIP trunks in the UK, Germany, and Australia and sites in each as well as several other European countries.- Service desk; starting at 2nd line with promotion to 3rd line within 6 months. Largely working a shift pattern that included out of hours/weekend work either solo or with one colleague. - Closely working with our internal Unified Comms department since March 2022; gaining experience with SIP implementation and support of Audiocodes SBCs and Teams Telephony.- Completion of several Teams telephony projects based around a mix of Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Calling Plan licensing – most notably a multi-national multi-SBC implementation with SIP trunks in the UK, Germany, and Australia and sites in each as well as several other European countries. - Identified areas for team development and created procedures for handover of projects to the service desk, including documentation and escalation paths for both our UK and New Zealand teams. - Training the service desk in SIP telephony to enable effective ongoing support. - Exposure to call centre systems such as Anywhere365 and Dynamics Contact Centre, as well as Zoom telephony. - Supporting SBCs with connections to other 3rd party supported systems such as Enghouse Contact Centre. - Working with in-house data engineers to produce custom reporting for Teams calls. - Implemented Teams SIP Gateway for multiple customers.

- Five years spent as First Lieutenant, leading a team of 10-15 adult volunteers in the Sea Cadet section of my unit. - Setting up and maintaining the unit O365 tenant and other IT equipment. - Supervising and teaching cadets aged 10-18 and adults in various activities including: IT, communications, water safety, powerboating, kayaking & hill-walking. - Mentoring less experienced staff, which involved training, signposting, planning development pathways. - Resolving conflicts between cadets or staff members.- In spring 2014 I sailed across the Pacific Ocean from China to San Francisco as crew on one leg of the Clipper round-the-world yacht race.

- Working in a small team supporting multiple manufacturing sites including troubleshooting of any and all applications, software and hardware in use in the business – primarily windows or windows server RDS based thin clients, as well as Alcatel Lucent PBX’s with IP phones and tie-ins to older analogue lines. - Implementation of MS Teams throughout the business including refresh of older Polycom VC equipment. - Renewing infrastructure and network equipment. - Investigating, speccing, testing and installing new hardware for desktop, mobile, video conferencing, wireless, infrastructure, printing and factory management applications. - Testing and rollout of software and OS upgrades for PCs, thin clients and servers. - Setup of then migration to brand new AD domain and into O365 for users and mailboxes.- Install and setup of management servers.- Liaising with internal departments and third-party contractors for both ongoing support and one-off projects, including scoping, delivering and final install.- Creating documentation for both end users and my colleagues in IT.
