I finished my PhD in Physics in Oct 2021 with the focus on solid-state theoretical physics and using a quantum computer as a quantum simulator. During the course of my studies, I was the first author of two peer-reviewed papres and a contributing author in 4 Nature journals. The highlight being a new fundamental finding in solid-state physics, which was also featured on the cover of Nature Materials, which I designed. I was featured multiple times on the national news network talking about our discoveries. More recently as a postdoctoral researcher I'm leading the development of one of the first real-world application of a quantum computer. Also, besides my work as a researcher, I teach a university undergraduate course in physics, as well other dissemination activities for the general public.
