In this role, I worked closely with internal stakeholders when creating purchase orders and requisitions. My responsibilities included ensuring the timely receipt of goods by each employee and facilitating the closure of purchase orders within our team.Additionally, I played a key role in coordinating with the facilities department to establish blanket purchase orders and overseeing the successful execution and closure of construction and maintenance projects. I also worked with external vendors, ensuring that all of their documents were up-to-date such as WSIB and Certificate of Insurance.During this co-op role, I undertook the initiative of updating the internal procurement website. This involved the comprehensive review and modification of items to enhance the website's user-friendliness for the staff, facilitating more efficient navigation.
