Despite this being a more behind the scenes approach to what I was use to previously, I cannot help but feel more hands on than ever, I speak with and grow relationships with customers on a daily basis whether this be via email or over the phone. During these conversations with our customers; I am actioning requests, making amendments to hosted systems or raising issues that are brought to live with a Partner carrier or Network Provider.The services I have continued to manage on a daily basis consist of, but are not limited to the following:- Broadband products, such as; ADSL / FTTC / SOGEA / FTTP / Leased Lines,- Hosted phone systems & VoiP.Daily tasks consist of, but are not limited to the following: - Managing tickets and taking calls for a range of products including: PSTN, ISDN, Hosted (VoiP), SIP trunk and Broadband services.- Ensuring all tasks are dealt with in a timely manner and do not fall outside of SLA.- Configuration of new Hosted PBX accounts.- Configuration of hosted phones.- Configuration of routers.- Notifying customers of planned maintenance.- Arranging for Openreach engineers to attend customer sites.- Arranging for Abzorb engineers to attend customer sites.- Updating internal systems.- Supporting other departments where applicable.Being new to this, I have really excelled and continue to grow and push boundaries of my own. This way, they could appreciate their devices and chosen products, the way I felt Apple intended it.As a Certified IOS Technician working the TechBar. I learnt so much more about IOS devices; their hardware and software! Along with Macs and MacOS also. This made me fall inlove with Tech on an even grander scale. Unlocking new potential in my brain and enhancing my knowledge and ability to new lengths. This meant I needed to stick to a strict schedule in order to not let my appointments run behind and leave each customers feeling satisfied with our services. I would be required to handle any problem a customer would walk in with. That requirement to be quick on my feet resulted in a passion for problem solving, diagnosing device after device. This way I was able to become quicker at perfecting my skill in resolving issues and sending clients away with a fixed device and a fixed smile on their ever so grateful faces.
