Before focusing on corporate finance Jake was a Manager in external audit. His role centered around the overall planning and execution of audit strategy, managing client relationships and developing of his teams. Some of his key clients included Centrica plc, Premier Oil plc, Baker Hughes, and Repsol Renewables.He also spent 3 months with the Repsol finance team, charged with the transition between accounting frameworks, alongside statutory accounts preparation and external audit liaison.
