One of my top strengths is that I am outgoing. I’ve never had a very difficult time striking up conversations with strangers. This can be a valuable asset as I strike out into the business world. It’s essential in a management position like this to be able to work well with both my team, and also those who need our services.Another top strength of mine is that I can explain complex things in a simple, easy to understand way. I’m the father of two small children, and children are expert question askers. Having to explain to them basically how the world works in simple terms has honed this skill until now it is one of my greatest. This skill is particularly useful in the IT world because there are a lot of people who don’t really know how computers work, and just need someone who can explain it in simple terms for the.Being able to organize tasks is an important skill when it comes to pretty much any management job. This is an area where I excel. I currently work at a call center, and I’m so good at this skill that I’ve been asked by my management to run the numbers on a daily basis for them and keep a spreadsheet updated for them. I have not only done that, but I have prepared graphs and charts showing trends to help use the company funds more efficiently.Attention to detail is something that shows up on lists of qualifications for job postings fairly often. In this field I have been very blessed. I quickly became a fairly strong writer in college because I pay attention and catch little things that often go unnoticed. This same skill is a handy thing to have in the workplace.I care about honesty, and I care about people. I’d be lying if I said I don’t also care about money, but it is not as important as my own integrity, and the consideration of my fellow man.
