I'm now pursuing a Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a plan to specialize in children and youth mental health. Highlights of my work include: • Creating and facilitating a drop-in program for queer youth ages 10 to 14 🏳️‍🌈• Speaking in front of 1,000 high school students about mental health 🎓• Leading a team of 8 in organizing a conference that brought together 80 students to brainstorm how we could reduce mental health stigma in our communities 🧠• Working for the Canadian Government to create a report on the state of youth in Canada 📝• Launching a campaign with The Social Reset that got 240 people to pledge to spend less time on social media in support of their mental health 📱I can talk about mental health for hours and I love meeting new people.
