As an MBA graduate from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's in Natural Resources and Environmental Science, I have a unique combination of skills and knowledge that enable me to solve environmental challenges with a business acumen. Most recently, I worked as an Internal Processes Intern at Alltech, where I applied the Lean Six Sigma principles to transform a storage facility into a distribution center, increasing efficiency and reducing waste. Previously, I gained valuable experience in marketing, ecological technician work, and public park service through various internships and projects. I conducted market research and analysis for Neogen Corporation, sorted macroinvertebrate samples and performed endangered bat surveys for THIRD ROCK CONSULTANTS, LLC, and maintained trails and facilities for the Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. I also demonstrated leadership and communication skills as the Vice President of the MBA Student Association and a recruitment committee member of Pi Kappa Alpha. I am certified in Microsoft Office and have excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
