Currently hold the position of Conversion Artist . Experienced on the Emba 245 and Emba 295 which is a casemaker. I started the role as a complete novice with no background on the machine and confidently feel i am one of the more skilled and equipped operators. I am currently training 3 new members of staff on the machines. I have also stepped in as shift leader on small occasions as i can operate the Ascor system and conveyor systems around the factory. The management team has also asked me if I'm willing to undergo shift leader training in the future . I also have a little experience on a flatbed machine called the CCM. Main duties in my role include • Operate the print system to make sure the required print is on the board• Operate Material Handling System and associated Software• Operate the Multi Point Gluers on the machine• Operate in line with Health and Safety regulations set out in the training• Ensure that the machine is producing Quality products at all times• Ensure all maintenance and Housekeeping is carried out and recorded• Use PPE and wear appropriate clothing as provided.• Look after the Ascor system and WIP area to make sure all machines receive the correct board• Die Cut• I can also operate the ink kitchen which produces ink for the factory .• Fire Marshal
