Tech assist for HPAC, LPAC, A/C plant, and refrigeration

As an Electrician’s Mate, I kept the power flowing. This included maintaining the power distribution circuitry, aircraft runway lighting, storage batteries, electrical equipment (e.g., motors & appliances), and electronic consoles. By following standards, procedures, electrical sketches, and diagrams I ensured complete safety in alignment with Navy protocols. I was known for being able to manage multiple and concurrent projects while prioritizing workflows in order of importance. I acted as both a point of contact for correcting inaccuracies and as a liaison with leaders to provide advice on specific deficiencies. As someone who could see the larger picture and think outside of the box, I was always ready with a solution or method to remedy problems.

This was a customer-facing position that granted me the opportunity to meet needs. By performing an analysis of customer requirements, I was able to recommend appropriate products. Not only did I repair hoses of various shapes and sizes according to manufacturer specs, but I also kept an eye on inventory with the goal of ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand which minimized backorders. On top of that, I directed the flow of paperwork including invoices, packing lists, and pro forma invoices.
