PwC's Infrastructure team was appointed by Edith Cowan University as the Construction Project Managers for the delivery of Perth's first CBD University Campus. The boundary-breaking campus is set to reshape the heart of Perth and deliver new energy that connects the city’s business, cultural and entertainment precincts.The project will see the transformation of the Perth CBD and the delivery of ECU’s teaching by connecting industry and education within its City Campus including bringing the internationally recognised Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) into the cities. The City Campus is due to open in 2025 and will lead to an inflex of thousands and staff into the CBD.

The Westmead Redevelopment is a transformative project that see the change of the precinct into an innovative, contemporary and integrated centre, which will continue to deliver high-quality healthcare for decades to come. Over $900 million has been allocated to the Westmead Redevelopment for the new Acute Services hospital building, associated infrastructure upgrades, car parking and refurbishments.The Westmead precinct has one of the largest concentrations of biomedical, scientific and healthcare focused minds in Australia and by 2036, the workforce at Westmead is expected to increase from 18,000 to 32,000 and the number of students is expected to grow from 2,000 to 9,000.

MMM WA is a civil contracting company that specialises in stormwater drainage, earthworks, road works, in additional to sea and river works predominately for Local and State Government. Whilst at MMM WA, I was employed to as a Site Engineer on the Mill Point Foreshore Protection project Portion B Works, which included the construction of 3 headlands, accessibility features and 2 beaches on the Swan River (east of the Narrows Bridge) for the City of South Perth. Key roles of mine included overseeing construction program, design documentation being followed, supervising work to ensure quality and safety standards and coordinating client stakeholder meetings and client updates.

The new Perth Stadium Project (since named through sponsorship Optus Stadium) saw the construction of Perth's biggest Stadium, for multi-purpose usage in Burswood. As a vacation student I primarily worked during university breaks as part of the project management team assigned throughout the stages of tender submission and evaluation, assisting the design sub-evaluation panel and during the contract negotiation stage with the preferred respondent.
