Duties (the Parts Consultant duties are consistent with the role I held at Skurrays – please see these listed below)• Meeting and Greeting customers• Following the checking-in process (visual body check of vehicle, confirming contact details on job card, confirming work to be carried out and a suitable time for collection)• Contacting customers throughout the day to advise of any upsell • Allocating work to technicians and monitoring work load• Liaising with sales to ensure their work is completed on time• Answering the phone and directing calls• Making bookings• Selling service plans and extended warranties• Offering technical advice and in-depth explanations of products where required• Job card preparation and pre-calls• Checking courtesy cars (fuel level, mileage etc…)• Follow up calls• Monthly utilities including gas, electric and oil• Training the new parts controller• Checking product reports and technical bulletins for warranty• Processing warranty claims• Monitoring the technician’s clocking’s to ensure successful warranty claims• Prior approval claims and goodwill claims

Duties• Direct phones sales customers, sales team, service department & workshop.• Email correspondence with service, retail and trade customers.• Direct sales via the retail counter, trade and general public• Dealing with workshop enquiries and pricing availability on the back counter• Goods in operation.• Management of financial transactions via credit, debit card, cash & cheque using Kerridge DMS.• Stock taking• Daily usage of multiple EPC's• Direct parts ordering from manufacturers
