With roots tracing back six generations in the majestic Colorado landscape, I am proud to continue my family's legacy of service and uphold the values of Faith, Family, and Freedom in this beautiful state. I first graduated with a bachelor's degree in history and business while volunteering as a firefighter, but after the tragic events of 9/11, I answered the call of duty and served my country in the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security. Following this critical period of service protecting our nation, I turned my passions toward educating and inspiring the next generation and later earned a master's degree in educational leadership. I have had the honor of being an educational leader and administrator for many years at the school, district, and charter levels before becoming the Head of Education at BRAVE Academy. Additionally, my commitment to service still continues to this day in educational politics and as I lend my expertise on DHS and FBI advisory committees at the state and national levels. Although my days are filled with service to God and others, I find joy in exploring the Rocky Mountains, writing my future novel, and making treasured memories with my loving wife and three children.
