I work a few positions as described below.As a rebinner, I've learned to be very detail oriented while moving products towards the last steps of shipment while moving at a very quick pace. The knowledge of how important it is to make sure every item is fit to be sent to customers is key. I've learned to understand this to drive takt time down and get more complete shipments out the door.I also function as a Problem Solver. For this responsibility, I communicate any concepts with my team to effectively fix misloaded shipments and get them to trucks by due ship times. Through this, I've gained extensive leadership skills to delegate responsibilities to handle objectives no one person could do alone. Additionally, I've learned how to pinpoint certain bottlenecks in our flow of product and handle those accordingly. Dealing with these issues has given me hands on experience with how Lean Management works and it's goal of boosting total productivity. Show less
